Admission procedure 

If you have decide that Herlufsholm is to be your child’s future school,  we recommend the following procedure:

 

Download the relevant admission form (boarder /day student). Fill in the form and mail it to Herlufsholm Skole, Herlufsholm Allé 170, 4700 Næstved, Danmark. You may scan the form and mail it to rektorkontor@herlufsholm.dk

 

You will then be contacted by the school, confirming reception of your application.

 

If your son/daughter is to be a boarder, you will be asked to come to the school for an interview, normally taken by Niels Christian Koefoed, Dorm Department Head. The interview lasts about an hour and a half, including a tour of the school. In this way you will be able to form an opinion of the school, and we, likewise, will get a first impression of your child. After the interview, you will, naturally, be given time to consider your decision. Your child will be considered admitted, when admission fee and deposit have been paid.

 

If your son/daughter is to be a day student, you will be asked to come in for a 15-minute interview. This will take place in March/April, and the intervies will normally be conducted by the administrative/executive staff of our Secondary School (STX), IB, and Primary School. Your child will be considered admitted, when admission fee and deposit have been paid. Application deadline: March 15.
