Possibilities of financial aid

Herlufsholm does not wish to exclude suitable and motivated students from going to Herlufsholm. That is the reason why a certain sum is set aside each year for a minor reduction of fees. This sum is provided by private funding as well as public support.

The school will evaluate all applications for fee reduction based on all available information given by the applicant. This may take place in an interview. A new student can not expect to receive more than a 25 %  reduction.  Naturally, the family’s financial situation is the key issue, but also the students academic qualifications play a role.

Reduction for siblings will be granted on application:

If  a family has two or more siblings at Herlufsholm at the same time, the family can apply for sibling reduction. The first child will have to pay the full amount, while other siblings may receive up to 35 % of the fees, depending on the need.

Reduction based on need:

Need reduction may be granted individually on individual application. The school will evaluate the situation and make a decision based on the situation of the family and the student.

Fee reduction will be granted only on concrete applications, and this must be done every year.

Application forms will be mailed to all parents every year in April. Deadline is June 1. New parents will receive application form on admission. The application form may be downloaded from “Application form”.
